MacLennans has been taking care of cars in central Wellington for 12 years. We specialise in getting the best performance out of your car - whether you are a daily commuter who wants more economy or a weekend racer who wants more power.

A large number of the cars we deal with are Subarus and Performance cars and we have a reputation for excellence in this area - so much so that people choose to bring their cars to us from outside the Wellington area.

Our staff have a long history in the automotive industry as well as with motorsport.

An engine re-build is the root canal of car repair. It's expensive, daunting and when you need it you're in a bind. We've answered some frequent questions about engine re-builds and about our service to help you if you are in this situation.

MacLennan Automotive Performance Centre is an independently Wellington owned business which has operated in central Wellington for 12 years.

We stock, source and sell performance parts and accessories both through our shop and over the web. If there's something you want that you can't see on our site or you have any questions then give us a call!

We also service and repair cars. We have a strong reputation for our expertise with Subarus but we cover all makes and models of car.

Finding us

If you are coming by the motorway drive to the south end and turn right onto Victoria street. We are right before the new on-ramp

MAPC goods can only be purchased on-line for delivery to New Zealand addresses. Please contact us by phone or e-mail if you are not in New Zealand.

Shipping

All goods ordered on-line are sent by Courier. Generally goods will take two - four days to arrive Costs are as follows :

Up to 100g $3
Up to 3kg Nationwide $6
Up to 10 kg Nationwide $11
for each additional 5 kg $6

Note that the couriers calculate 'weight' based on a combination of size and weight. This will be calculated for you when you go to checkout your goods.

Returns and Refunds

All purchases are covered by the consumer guarantees act. If an item you have purchased is faulty or defective you are entitled to return it for a full refund or replacement. If this is the case please send it back to us as soon as possible. We will assess it and if we find it to be faulty we will refund or replace the item and the freight you incurred.

If you wish to return an item due to a change of mind we will refund it if returned to us within 14 days in the original packaging, unused and in resaleable condition. In this instance freight will not be refunded and we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% to cover costs incurred.
